Wish List and Gifts In Kind
We Desperately Need Passenger Vans or a Small Bus (new or in good condition) for transporting children to school events, doctors appointments and other vital activities!
Fall 2010 Wish List
We can always use standard hygiene items such as combs, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc!
- Pillows (health laws require new, not used)
- School Uniforms (please gift Target or Walmart gift cards so that we can purchase needed sizes)
- Bathrobes / slippers / pajamas
- Television 19" or larger (not flatscreen, this is to use on a rolling cart)
- Batteries (sizes AAA, AA, C, or D - for use in children's toys)
- $10 gift cards to Target (as rewards, incentives for goal achievements)
- Towels / washcloths
We serve boys and girls ages 6-17, so most children and youth sizes are appropriate!
Niles Home Proudly Announces a Partnership with Goodwill Industries!
We are frequently overwhelmed with donations of clothing that we cannot immediately use. Our storage space is very limited, plus our staff must take time from other activities to sort and manage the unused items.
If you have clothing to donate, please take them to your nearest Goodwill and tell them you are donating for the benefit of Niles Home for Children. They will issue us vouchers to use for specific children’s needs when they come to Niles. This partnership makes better use of your donation and helps us better manage our resources. Thanks for supporting a great partnership with two great agencies in your community.
