Residential Services
He sleeps better now. When the nightmares do come, he wakes and remembers he’s safe… he’s home… at Niles Home.
Niles Home provides residential treatment for children ages 6-17, most of whom have been severely traumatized by abuse, neglect or abandonment. Because we recognize that every child at Niles Home is unique, our caring staff works to build on the strengths and interests of each individual.
Residential Treatment is designed to serve children and adolescents with diagnoses such as:
- Major Depression
- Oppositional-Defiant Disorder
- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
- Bi-polar Disorder
Our Residential Treatment program takes a multidisciplinary approach to promote and support healing for emotionally troubled youth and their families. Our licensed therapists, master's level social workers (MSW), psychiatrists and other professionals provide individual, group and family therapies as well as activities tailored to help increase the child's own self-esteem and social interaction capabilities.
Children at Niles Home need a safe haven, a place to heal, a place to learn and grow and a place where the nightmares end. Our residential staff never forgets that HOME is our middle name!
